Well, we made it out of Vancouver without incident. Caught the train back to the airport, and checked in. Kiosks are big over here. As in popular, not super-sized.
Managed to figure out how to put a bag-tag on unaided. Then we went through security. I cannot imagine how many times our boarding passes were scanned before we got to the gate. Just about everybody in a uniform we passed, wanted to scan them. At least twice by security, and who knows who else there was?
I got to try out one of these new security tanning booths, but I can't see any result. Still the fat white guy.
We are travelling WestJet, and they have a good reputation.
Their gates have two airbridges. The low one at the front is for the 737, the high one must be to strap the hand-luggage onto the roof. Amrikans, remember.
It may be of interest to airbridge drivers at CHC that these have a defined path to drive on. No accidents here, eh?
I also noticed that there is a logo on the truck under the airbridge that one or two may recognise.
