Off to Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Monday August 12

The wee pub puts on a nice breakfast. What surprised me is that they had a big-arsed, commercial grade Nespresso machine. One that takes the larger pods. I’ve never seen that at a hotel, but I think it’s a great idea.
So off we head, to see if Lyme Hall has opened. And yes it is. Score!

It’s smaller than Chatsworth but still nice.

After a wee visit, it’s off to Wales. It was recommended by Wayne Hall that we drive from Llandudno down the middle of the country, to finish in Cardiff.
What he didn’t mention is that Llandudno is a spectacular little seaside town. With spectacular not little hotels all along the Promenade. That’s posh for beachfront.
I think Wayne has earned himself a chocolate fish.

We were a bit early to check-in, so we decided to tool on down the coast to the most famous and longest town name in the world. It’s just on 30 minutes each way, so just a quick in and out.
Crazy.
